Whatsapp

Simple. Safety.
Reliable messaging.

With WhatsApp, messages and calls are simple, fast, secure, free*, and available on phones around the world.Whatsapp is the application dedicated to instant messaging most famous and most used in the world.

Date of its creation - to date the service has changed a lot, introducing various functions, has passed under the control of Facebook.

It has already passed the one billion mark. Here are all the main information you should know if you use WhatsApp, as well as many news in the news section

Is WhatsApp free?

Yup, WhatsApp is freetherefore, there are no costs to download it or even to use it. If you find a news or information that invites you to pay to download the app or that announcements that the service will become paid, be wary as it is certainly a fake news or a fraudulent method to steal your personal data.

Unlike in the past, where there was an annual subscription of about € 1, over and over again it was communicated by the company that the service will no longer be paid and will remain totally free, forever.

Features and functionality of WhatsApp

The main functionality offered by Whatsapp it is obviously that of instantly exchanging text messages using an internet connection; not only, however, because the service allows the sending of images, videos, documents, audio and positions, as well as the possibility of making calls and video calls always using the data connection.

The service is offered for free and in a cross-platform way: in fact, the application for Android and iOS, a desktop client for both Windows and Mac and also a web version, to be used directly from our browser (in all respects it is simply an interface to the smartphone, which only works if the device is connected to the internet). An app dedicated to tablets is absent, while multiaccess is not allowed (if you want to change the device you will have to perform the configuration again after deleting the account).

However, sending attachments has some limitations: Whatsapp it compresses the photos and videos that are sent, while sending PDF or office files has a maximum limit of 100 MB for the single file. To better understand how to use the service, we advise you to consult our collection of guides for WhatsApp (which you can also find at the bottom).

Also interesting is the function that allows you to keep an eye on the data consumed by the app and of find out which contacts we have the most interactions with. Obviously WhatsApp also allows you to block a specific contact, in two ways that we explain in this short guide or to prevent anyone from adding us to any group.
