Whatsapp Pay is coming seriously.

WhatsApp Pay is coming seriously.

WhatsApp's money exchange system may soon arrive in Italy too. The confirmation is given directly by Mark Zuckerberg even if some details are not clear. Here is what the Facebook CEO said.

WhatsApp Pay will also soon arrive in Italy. This is what emerges among the most important news of the messaging service for 2020. Aย systemย of payment which has already arrived in India for a few years but which has not yet officially made its appearance in the rest of the world.ย Users will be able to send money to other users from the application simply from the chat you have with them.ย The news comes directly from Mark Zuckerberg, during the Facebook financial results presentation event.

WhatsApp Pay: also arriving in Italy

WhatsApp Pay, as announced by the founder of the giant of Menlo Park, will be nothing but aย new fully digital payment systemย able to make sending money from one user to another simple and immediate. The Facebook CEO says soย "Quick and easy how to send an image". In this case the system will allow users to simply send money to their friends or contacts. Not only because WhatsApp Pay will also allow you to complete payments on e-commerce sites that will allow the use of the new payment method.

At the moment there is no specific dateย from which the system will be active. But we know thatย will also arrive in Italy and this will happen within 6 months, said Zuckerberg, not mentioning any specific dates. Worldwide there are practically more than 2.9 billion users per month accessing Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. There are even more than 2 billion users who access at least one of these applications every day. Dizzying numbers that cannot be left there to die and that the CEO has thought well of using them with WhatsApp Pay.

WhatsApp Pay is a Universal Payment Interface, and that means he ownsย a peer-to-peer payment interface. Here, in this case, in India, where banking authorities such as the Reserve Bank of India and the Government are already operating, have expressed concern about the system. According to experts, in fact, WhatsApp Payย it risks being uncontrollable precisely by the Authoritiesย even if developed in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India and therefore the transactions may be accessible by the Indian Central Bank. The problem, however, could be the number of operations too exaggerated that it cannot exercise a real meticulous control over it. At this point we will see how the app will be implemented in Europe and how users can actually use it to send money among themselves.
