The automatic deletion of messages in a previously established time frame will only be available within group chats and not in single ones. The function can be used on WhatsApp as a real one cleaning tool. The tool can be activated (and deactivated) exclusively by administrators for put order within a group. While not citing it directly, it is conceivable that the same mode of use will also be provided in the Android counterpart.
