Your catalog is never copied: the assistant reads products from your store when the customer asks, so prices and stock are always current, even with tens of thousands of products. SendApp only reads: it never changes products, prices or orders.

How to connect it
- Install the SendApp plugin from WordPress.org, or search for “SendApp” in WordPress → Plugins → Add New.
- In the plugin (SendApp → Overview) press “Connect to SendApp”, sign in and choose the WhatsApp account.
- Choose the WhatsApp messages in the plugin and turn them on.
- In SendApp → Apps → Online shop the store shows as “Connected”. With “Try the search” you see the products as the assistant finds them.
Who sends the order messages
- “Manage from SendApp”: messages are sent by SendApp automations.
- “Send from WordPress”: the plugin sends them, and SendApp records orders and revenue without messaging the customer twice.
Alternative: the manual webhook
If you can’t install the plugin, you can connect WooCommerce with the direct webhook: store events create and update contacts in SendApp. The assistant’s product search requires the plugin.
How it works
On every event in your WooCommerce shop we create or update the contact in SendApp (name, phone, email) and tag it. We don't send messages on your behalf: you contact the leads whenever you want with a campaign or via API.
Step-by-step setup
- Copy your Webhook URL from the box above (select the account first).
- Log in to WooCommerce from the WordPress dashboard and go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Webhooks.
- Create a new Webhook, set the Delivery URL to the copied URL (the format is JSON by default) and choose the Topic among those that contain customer data:Order created order.created
- Order updated order.updated
- Customer created customer.created
- Save.
Avoid topics that only concern products or coupons: they don't contain a customer and don't create anything.
General rule: choose events that include customer data (name, phone or email): without a phone or email the contact is not created.
What happens next
The contacts coming from WooCommerce are created and tagged (woocommerce) in SendApp. Reach them with a campaign filtering by that tag, or through the API.
Verify
Create a test order on WooCommerce and check that the contact appears in SendApp. If the phone or email is missing, the contact is not created.
