Chinese company ByteDance receives ultimatum directly from the President of the United States

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, he stated during a briefing of the White House that an American company will have to buy Tiktok, has time until September 15, 2020 . If not, the tycoon will force the popular Chinese-origin platform to abandon the local market with an executive ban.
So, September 15, 2020 is the date to keep in mind to find out what will happen to TikTok on US soil. Microsoft itself has indicated that date as deadline for the agreements entered into after the presidential green light to proceed in that direction.
The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States has set this date; so as to grant an extra time of 45 days to Microsoft to submit and discuss the purchase request.
If ByteDance decides to accept Microsoft's terms, or another “very American society”, would no longer control the US market. According to Microsoft, the agreement would also include the transfer of management of the Canadian markets, Australia is New Zealandto.
In response, TikTok posted the following statement: “TikTok is loved by 100 million Americans, Because it's a home for entertainment, self-expression, and connection. We're motivated by their passion and creativity, and we're committed to continuing to bring joy to families and meaningful careers to those who create on our platform as we build TikTok for the long term. will be here for many years to come”.
