In these hours there is a lot of talk about scam messages on Whatsapp of & #8220;New Year's virus & #8221;It's a very trivial scam, actually, but given the holiday season, whether it's the joy of receiving some new gadgets or the numbness of revelry, it could prove more effective than usual. It is therefore correct to specify that the so-called New Year's virus it's not a virus of Whatsapp, but a cheap scam that spreads through WhatsApp, which on the other hand is the most popular messaging client of all, and therefore it's easier for someone to fall for it. The advice is obviously NOT to follow the link and, if unknown, block the sender. If unknown, it's a good idea to notify them that their device has likely been compromised.
