How to Use WhatsApp Best

You often find yourself traveling and want to be able to access Whatsapp from your smartwatch? Or, are you looking for a way to use WhatsApp on your tablet or PC? Maybe you want to know when your contacts are online without being seen. If so, you're in the right place.

Below, I'll show you how to get the most out of WhatsApp apps. Whether you have an Android smartphone, an iPhone, or prefer a PC, I'm sure you'll find this guide helpful. Keep reading!

WhatsApp Web: An Extension of Your Smartphone

If you're familiar with WhatsApp Web, you know it's the online version of the messaging app, perfect for sending and receiving messages when you don't have your phone handy. To access it, simply go to the official WhatsApp Web website and scan the QR code displayed on the screen using the WhatsApp app on your phone.

However, you may be wondering if it's possible to use WhatsApp Web on another phone or tablet. The answer is yes, but there's a caveat: many third-party apps that promise this feature may compromise your privacy. Instead of these apps, I suggest using your device's browser to access the WhatsApp Web website directly.

WhatsApp Online Status: When Your Contacts Are Active

The standard version of WhatsApp shows when a contact is online, as long as certain features are enabled. If you want to see a contact's last seen time, you must first make sure this feature is enabled. Once enabled, you'll be able to see the contact's last seen time under their name in the chat.

But what if a contact has disabled this feature? There are several alternatives, such as enabling read receipts or using notifications to determine a contact's activity.

WhatsApp e Apple Watch: Reading and Replying to Messages on the Go

While WhatsApp doesn't offer an official Apple Watch app, there are alternative ways to stay connected. The first method is to mirror your iPhone notifications to your Apple Watch, so you can receive and reply to messages directly from your wrist.

Another method is to use third-party apps like WatchChat 2 for WhatsApp, which allows you to access WhatsApp Web directly from your Apple Watch. This app offers a free trial and is then available for purchase.

How to Use WhatsApp Web on an iPad

If you own an iPad and are wondering how to use WhatsApp, the solution is simpler than you might think. Unlike Android tablets, iPads don't natively support the WhatsApp app, but there's a way around this limitation: WhatsApp Web.

Use WhatsApp Web on iPad

WhatsApp Web is the browser version of the messaging app, and it also works great on an iPad. To get started, launch the browser on your iPad and visit the WhatsApp Web website. Make sure you have WhatsApp installed on your smartphone, which must be turned on and connected to the internet. Follow the steps to pair your mobile device with your iPad and start chatting. Note: You won't receive notifications unless the browser is open and active.

For a detailed guide on how to access WhatsApp Web from iPad, you can follow the instructions I have provided in the previous chapter.

WhatsApp for PC: Web or App?

In addition to accessing WhatsApp on your tablet, you may also want to use the app on your PC. Again, you have two options: WhatsApp Web and the official application for Windows and macOS.

Using WhatsApp Web on PC

If you're already familiar with WhatsApp Web, the process for accessing it from your PC is essentially the same as for an iPad. Launch your browser, visit the WhatsApp Web website, and follow the steps to pair your smartphone. Once done, you'll be able to send and receive messages just like you would on your mobile device.

How to Install WhatsApp on the PC App

If you prefer a more robust solution, you can download and install the official WhatsApp app for PC. This is available for both Windows 10 and later and macOS 11 and later.

Download and Install the WhatsApp App for PC

To download the app, visit the Microsoft Store or the Mac App Store. If you are a macOS user, you can also get the beta client directly from the official WhatsApp website. Once the download is complete, follow the instructions to install the app on your computer.

The PC app's interface is very similar to that of a smartphone. Your chats will be listed on the left side of the screen, and by clicking on a chat, you can view it on the right. From here, you can type messages, send files, and use all the other functions you'd normally use on your smartphone.

With these options at your disposal, chatting with WhatsApp across devices has never been easier.
