Packlink PRO and WhatsApp: the official SendApp app

• Automatic WhatsApp messages at every status change: shipped, out for delivery, delivery attempt failed, held at the depot, at the pickup point, delivered. They leave from your automations on the event «Shipment: status changed», with an approved template and the tracking link.
• The shipment on the contact: every status shows in the contact's activity; a recipient not yet in SendApp becomes a contact with the tag you choose.
• The AI answers «where is my parcel?» with the status of Packlink's last update, only for the shipments of the customer it is talking to.

1. 1In SendApp open Apps → Packlink PRO and choose the WhatsApp number the shipment messages leave from.
2. 2In Packlink PRO open Settings → API key, copy the key and paste it in the app page in SendApp. Press Connect Packlink PRO: SendApp tries the key and keeps it encrypted.
3. 3SendApp does the rest: it registers its own address in your Packlink PRO account, there is nothing to paste in Packlink. In the «Connection with Packlink» box the status goes from «Waiting for the first update» to «Receiving» at the first status change of a shipment. If it shows «Not registered», press Register again in a few minutes.
4. 4Press Create the ready-made automations: SendApp creates 6 automations switched off and sends Meta their templates (it takes about a minute, keep the page open). When Meta approves them (usually within minutes), switch them on in Automations.
5. 5In Settings choose whether to add the recipients to the contacts (with the tag you want, «packlink» by default) and whether returns start the automations too.

Important: one WhatsApp number per store, one store per number. Every connected Packlink PRO account works with a single WhatsApp number, and a number already used by another Packlink PRO account cannot be chosen: first connect another number in SendApp, or disconnect that account. Shipments without the recipient's phone and orders from marketplaces that do not allow writing to their buyers get no WhatsApp message.

The shipment data arrive from Packlink with your key and stay in your SendApp account. If you disconnect the app, SendApp forgets the key and switches the automations off; shipments, contacts and chats stay. If you delete a contact, their shipments are deleted with it.
